This space is generally reserved for a short introduction, however I'm going to use it as a love letter to the font Roboto Mono. I know, it's odd, but I promise it will all make sense in the end (at least I hope so). This will also explain why my name is Julia in some of my contact information. In the world of the typed word, there are 4 major font types: Serif, Sans Serif, Display, and Script. All of them have their uses, however the Sans Serif font type has become the default on the web because it makes pages more accessible for people with reading difficulties. This font type is less crowded, and generally easier to read (e.g example vs example), however, because of it's simplicity it relies on context for some letter differentiation. Take the word "Illusion", with a Sans Serif font, this word would look like this: " Illusion ". From context we can discern what the word is, but the l and I look almost indistinguishable.
